Cigar Tuck Cutter

Our Cigar Tuck Cutters meet the demand of Hand Cigar manufacturers for a Tuck Cutter having long blade life, rugged construction and ease of operation. This all metal Tuck Cutter will last indefinitely.

The Cutting Blades furnished with our Tuck Cutters are manufactured of a good grade of tool steel 1/8" in thickness without any raised cutting services. This means that the regrinding or re-sharpening operation is easily accomplished by the surface grinding of one side of the blade only.

The all metal construction and design of our Tuck Cutters permits accurate machining of the Main Frame where the Lower Blade is supported, assuring perfect right angle cutting across the tuck end of the cigar. The Lower Blade can be raised or lowered, according to the height of the tuck from the groove in which the cigar is laid, preventing the splitting of the tuck. This is a decided advantage in tuck cutting Perfecto or Shaped Cigars.

The length gage is mounted on a separate Rod and is held firmly in place by a Thumb Screw and will not work loose with the operation of the cutter.

For Cigar Manufacturers requiring the Tuck Cutting of longer cigars, the Tuck Cutter can be furnished to cut cigars up to 8-1/2"length. Longer length cutters are made up special as required, the Standard Model being the most popular.
